"The sun is a daily reminder that we too can rise again from the darkness, that we too can shine our own light." — S. Ajna

Here’s what I learned or was reminded of this week:

You are the kind of person who isn’t easily fooled by surface-level trends. You pride yourself on seeing the deeper "why" behind human behavior, which is why you feel that subtle, nagging friction lately. It’s the tension of living out a story you didn't actually write—a narrative frozen by old fears rather than your future potential. This identity leak costs you hours of presence and years of progress every single week. Your real self is currently suffocated by a script that was handed to you by someone else's expectations. It is time to stop performing for an audience that doesn't exist and finally step into the alignment you’ve already earned.

Inspiration for this week’s newsletter?

“We tell our self stories in order to live… We live entirely, especially if we are writers, by the imposition of a narrative line upon disparate images, by the 'ideas' which we have learned to freeze the shifting phantasmagoria which is our actual experience." - Joan Didion, The White Album 1979.

🔥 Your Brain is a Time Machine Imagine your mind is like a TikTok feed. If you keep watching sad videos, the app shows you more sad things. Your brain does the same! If you only think about what went wrong yesterday, your brain "freezes" that picture. To change your life, you have to start "liking" and "sharing" the version of you that lives in the future. You aren't stuck in your old story; you just haven't refreshed your feed yet.

🔥 The "Main Character" Energy Reset Everyone is talking about being the "Main Character" lately. But most people are actually just "extras" in their own lives because they are scared of how they feel. When you get a big, scary feeling, don't try to hide it. Name it. When you give the feeling a name, you take away its power. It’s like turning on the lights when you think there’s a monster under the bed—suddenly, it’s just a pile of laundry.

🔥 Don't Let Your Body Tell a Lie Your body often remembers things your mind wants to forget. If you feel tight or stressed, your body is playing an old "song" from a time you were hurt. You can't just think your way out of it; you have to change the tune. Take a deep breath and tell your body, "We are safe now." This isn't just a trick; it’s how you rewrite your internal code so you can finally act like the person you want to become.

🔥 The Power of the "Future Selfie" We all love filters that make us look different, but the best filter is the one you put on your heart. Instead of looking at who you were, start acting like the person you will be in ten years. Ask yourself: "Would the future version of me be worried about this?" If the answer is no, let it go. You are allowed to quit the story that no longer fits you.

🔥 The Truth Sets the Script There is an old, powerful promise that says: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." This means the "world" (or social media, or your coworkers) is always trying to hand you a script. But you have a divine spark inside that is bigger than any trend. When you align your inside thoughts with your outside actions, you aren't just "fixing" yourself—you are finally becoming the masterpiece you were designed to be.

But what do I know? I’m just a regular guy, an underdog 😁. Trust in yourself and your intuition. Believe in your abilities. Never underestimate the power of consistency. Keep showing up every day. The future is bright for those who persist. And I see you as that type of person. Keep going!
